Hi all, I have an applet that launches a Frame, and it works fine with all jre's and browsers except japanese IE 5.5 with SUN JRE 1.3.1 and Opera 6 with SUN JRE 1.3.1. The applet is written in Java 1.1.8, and uses some BWT classes (from kl group). And it seems to be during loading of one of these (JCAWTEvent.class) that it halts. I've checked the sourcecode for this class and cannot see anything that obviously causes problems (source code attached at the bottom). I am quite lost, and any hint would be appreciated. /***************************************************************************** * * (c) Copyright 1997-2000, SITRAKA INC. * ALL RIGHTS    More>>

Hi all,

The applet is written in Java 1.1.8, and uses some BWT classes (from kl group). And it seems to be during loading of one of these (JCAWTEvent.class) that it halts. I've checked the sourcecode for this class and cannot see anything that obviously causes problems (source code attached at the bottom).

I am quite lost, and any hint would be appreciated.
