Hello everyone,

Does anyone know if there is a way to configure Tomcat to support JMS by using the J2ee Reference Implementation Server as the JMS provider? I know there are jakarta components and openjms that can help out tomcat do this, but i was wondering if tomcat can do it without the need for those, instead just use j2ee's jms?

Thanks in advance

Did you try to include the right classes/.jar files in your classpath? If
Tomcat finds the right classes (the .jar file with the JMS RI classes) then
you should be able to create a publisher or a sender
in your servlet and send out messages.

I never played around with the JMS Ri of sun, but it sould not be a big problem....

good luck!

What do you mean by "Tomcat to support JMS"?
