how to check values within a bean

I am trying to feed parameters into a bean from a web page.
But I keep getting "document contained no data" errors,
I was wondering whether there was any simple way to check
whether the values are getting read into the
bean or whether the problem is elsewhere.

yeah. but System.out.println's in your setXXX() methods in the bean.
