Hello.
How do I specify system properties for beans in WTE?
I'm entering system properties as follows:
a) Go to the EJB pane of VAJ.
b) Right click on the bean in question to get the Properties window.
c) Go to the Environment pane and enter the relevant name/values.
d) Stop WTE, redeploy the bean, restart WTE (just to be sure ! )
The problem is, when I access the bean from the debugger, none of the properties are available (e.g. if the code calls System.getProperties() then none of my properties show up).
Thanks for any help you can give,
Tony

The properties you are setting are EJB environment properties, not system properties. These properties are placed on the JNDI tree java:myBean/env. I believe the recommended way to get access to these properties is to do a lookup on the JNDI tree itself. However, there is a getEnvironment() method on EJBContext where you can access the Properties of your bean.

Hope this helps,

Dan
