Is it possible to compile JSP

files the way one can do in

Forte ?
Also does IntellijIDEA have a

web module component like in Forte.

This can allow standard directory

structure to be created automatically
like web-inf/classes
lib etc.

It is not possible to compile JSP's in IDEA, since this can be easily achieved with the help of the Ant Build feature and the tools delivered with your web-server (e.g., jspc for Tomcat).

As for the web module component, it is also not available in the current version, but the next major version of IDEA will provide some features to help web-application developers.

Just for your information, the next version will also provide the JSP debugging feature.
