What is the Difference between the IPlanet Mailing Server and JavaMail???


How to send the automated Notification messages similar to the one we get from the Jguru site when an answer was posted to the question using Iplanet Mailing Server???.


Is there a need to add mail.jar file in the class path if i am using Iplanet Mailing Server???

The notification messages are just sent by the software like any other response to an event. When event X happens, do Y. Y just happens to be send mail.
