An applet crashes (init() is not successful), after reloading successfully a variable(??) number of times. at TextField.setText() statement.

The parent applet always loads successfully atleast once.
Which means both the embedded date applet's date is set
successfully atleast one time ( sometimes there are 5
successful reloads of the applets, sometimes 11 and so on,
the number of successes is very random.)
