Hello everybody!
How the subject explain, I'm a new student of the JavaCard technology.
I'm trying to make applications with the GemXpresso RAD 211 package. It's documentation talks about the code generation and recommend the use of Visual Cafe 3.0.(c or d) with a plugin that allow a better development. Ok.
All that I found was Visual Cafe 4.5.x on WebGain site. But it doesn't work.
So I tried JCDK, and it's even more difficult.
I'm reading Zhinqun Chen's book, but it's doesn't say about the development process - allrigth ...just a little.
If you can help me, PLEASE, do it.
I'm lost.
Sorry for my English.

Use what ever IDE you want. The most important thing in developing JC applets is the cap file.

Metrowerks offers a JC IDE, but be prepared to shell out more than an actual JC kit cost !

The main thing you need from a JC kit is the loader. This loads the cap file onto the card. Because of that, how you decide to generate your class files is up to you.

Forget about WebGain. Visual Cafe has destroyed more project files of mine that I care to count. It's outdated and lacks any support.
