Tomcat Gurus, We want to make Tomcat run as a NT service. We are using SSL with Tomcat. We are able to make Tomcat run as a service. We have included the apporporiate entries in the wrapper.properties file to make it run with JSSE. wrapper.cmd_line=$(wrapper.javabin) -Djava.protocol.handler.pkgs=com.sun.net.ssl.internal.www.protocol -classpath $(wrapper.class_path) $(wrapper.startup_class) -config $(wrapper.server_xml) -home $(wrapper.tomcat_home) Yet we are unable to make Tomcat work as a NT service with SSL. We are getting the following error when we use https://localhost:8080/index.html 2002-01-23 20:24:50 - Ctx( ): 400 R( /) null 20   More>>

Tomcat Gurus,

We want to make Tomcat run as a NT service. We are using SSL with Tomcat. We are able to make Tomcat run as a service. We have included the apporporiate entries in the wrapper.properties file to make it run with JSSE.

wrapper.cmd_line=$(wrapper.javabin)
-Djava.protocol.handler.pkgs=com.sun.net.ssl.internal.www.protocol
-classpath $(wrapper.class_path) $(wrapper.startup_class)
-config $(wrapper.server_xml) -home $(wrapper.tomcat_home)

Yet we are unable to make Tomcat work as a NT service with SSL.
We are getting the following error when we use https://localhost:8080/index.html

2002-01-23 20:24:50 - Ctx( ): 400 R( /) null
2002-01-23 20:24:50 - Ctx( ): IOException in: R( /) Socket closed

On running Tomcat with batch files, we are able to send information using https. We have verified that the .keystore file is located in the proper folder for Tomcat when it runs as a service.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
-vg
