Could UML help me to document my Web-based project ?

My project is a Web-Application case,and
I've choiced Jsp , servlet and JavaBean as my implemented tools.(people said jsp as a view,servlet as a controller, javaBean as a model. they call it MVC or Jsp Model 2)
Base these tools ,Could I use UML help me to model and document from analysis phase to design phase ?
If the answer is yes ,but how?

Building web applications with UML by Jim Conallen

It might help you on the way.

yes. if you use Together Control Center 5.5, there are web application diagrams available that you can use to model web applications.
