Is debugging of applets supported in Mac OS X?



On setting a breakpoint and running debug, I get a JVM error.

Make sure you're you have jpda.jar in your classpath (you need to modify the startup script a bit). Also, make sure you are not specifying the classic VM. Both remote and local debugging work fine under OSX.
