For reasons unknown to me I will suddenly start getting the above error. My servlet engine and persistent name server are both running and so are my servers. I receive no other errors in my console or log file. I can restart my servlet engine and I will get an error that it is already in use (sometimes) but it still starts.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If the Servlet Engine didn't start, and gave you something like: 'port already in use' you will not be able to access the Servlet from your browser! Make sure you don't have any other processes running on port 8080 (Apache? etc.) If your Servlet engine started okay, and you're still getting the error it's probably something to do with the Servlet engines classpath. Check your project is checked in the WTE/Servlet Engine/Edit Class Path.
