Hi All,

I am trying to display a ToolTip with java. In the FAQS on www.jguru.com ( http://www.jguru.com/faq/view.jsp?EID=17099 ) there is an example on how to do this. This works fine on windows but not on Linux, does anyone knows why it doesn't work or another solution ?

First, does the Netscape window have the focus when you try this applet?

If so, then it's probably a bug in the ancient JDK that comes with the Netscape browser. The applet works as expected when I run it with appletviewer under JDK1.4.
