I have one Entity bean and one Session bean both deployed in the Weblogic 6.1 App.Server . they both run with their separate client files . but when i try to call the entity bean from my session bean , I get NoClassDefFoundError .
it is unable to find the package.HomeInterface class .

Do i need some additional configuration in my Depl. Descriptor. or the application server configuration .

to the entity bean in the deployment descriptor of the session bean. you need ejb-ref tag if you are going to access one bean from the other. you also need to import the bean's home and remote (or local if using local interfaces) interface because you will use them. but this will also be caught during compilation so nothing special about that. just put the ejb-ref and you should be fine.
