I want to retrieve the Physical address of a machine which looks like(00-50-BA-3E-88-CD) through a java program.Is there any method is there to retrieve such information?

No, this is not part of the core networking functionality. This would best be done by JNI calls to code you would have to write yourself.


Something to consider, a machine have more than one network card, so you would have to iterate through them.
