I've started to learn Swing to create some simple applets. I've downloaded the plugin for my browser to run the Swing applets and i also use the HTMLConverter from java.sun.com to convert the HTML page i create to load the Swing applets. The problem is everytime i try to load the swing applet, the swing applet cannot be loaded and in the bottom, "Start: applet not initialised". Can you solve my problem? Thanks a lot!

Please use html tags to format code blocks.

The latest Plug-in doesn't require the use of hte HTML Converter. Just use the tag.

First make sure your using the newest tags to display the applet.
The old doesn't seem to work with Swing.
Try:

Just change ~appletName~ to your applet's name and give it a try. That may be all you need ......
