Hi,
I have a 3 questions:

1) I want to make a thumbnail from a jpeg image stored in a file on
harddisk. I want to use the new improvements who came with JSDK 1.4 beta
(like Image I/O and JAI).

The application will be on a Linux server and I don't want to install a X
server. I also want that the transformation of the image to be independent
from the resolution on server.

A code example will be good.

2) where I find a beginner tutorial on JAI

3) where I find a tutorial an image(jpeg) manipulation.
