I want the "href" remain unchanged and a new window pop up defined by "onclick".
But now the original window goes to the web page defined by "href".
And if I ignore "href" attribute, then onclick is still working
but the text "ABC" looked not like a link.
Any help? Thank you.

try something like

ABC

where foo() is a function that opens your pop up window
