Which is the better way for refreshing the data on the client whenever the database content changes ?

The database contents are viewed by clients in a jtable . The connection to the database server is using soap. At a time there could be more than 100 connections to the server. Each client can view a different data from others based on the filter he has applied.

what is any way to do this... this is basically what I am trying to do but I don't know how...
