I am using jsp for my application.I able to get The File but I want to read contents of Excel file into database?How canI do it?

There are also several entries around jGuru that cover reading Excel files. The fact that it comes across as an attachment really doesn't matter.

I'm not an expert on this topic, so you might want to wait for more answers, but here's a start.

This is what I'm thinking: there's an extensive tool set in Visual Basic to handle Excell files... and there are bridges between Java and Visual Basic...
