This is behavior has only been found on Windows systems when running Idea under the Sun 1.3.1_01 JDK. As a workaround, use the Sun 1.3.1 JDK instead.

I have seen it on Linux 8.1 / Sun 1.3.1 also running IntelliJ 2.5
