I am building a rather heavily loaded website that uses ejbs to provide a data layer. I have employed the factory design pattern for obtaining home objects, and would like to build a caching singleton object for the home objects to optimize performance. I am not sure what others experiences are with cached home objects .. any ideas or input would be very helpful.
