I have a servlet running in WebSphere on an AIX machine. Is is possible for the servlet to connect to an NT box and delete files that are passed to the servlet in the request.


How would I go about doing this?

See if you can use Samba to mount the remote NT file system on the AIX machine. This is not a servlets issue at this point -- it's just a sysadmin thing. (The remote files will look like local files.)
