Hi,


I am generating XMl Document from Java Object. I get the tagName and TagValue for XML from HashMap.


I manage to Do XML File from that. I am using DocumentImp Object to generated the XMl .But I am not able to associate any DTD with that XML Document? Can anybody tell me how to use DTD while generating XML File. I am using XERCES parser.

Parag,

you have to specify the DTD in the XML.


The DTD will contain a listing of all external entities and will keep your XML in good shape too.


Use an IDE like EXCELON STYLUS STUDIO to work on XML and the intellisence will help you a great deal.
