Hi

I m using jaxb APIs to build XMK objects


I have .dtd and .jxs(schema file) with me.


Does any one knows where i can find Schema compiler ?Is it a exe?


How do i pass parameteres to it?

The schema compiler comes with the JAXB installation, it is in the jaxb-xjc-1.0-ea.jar. The current installation includes only script for *nix systems, no bats etc for win32.


You might want to make a xjc.bat such as

java -jar "d:program filesjdk1.3.1jrelibextjaxb-xjc-1.0-ea.jar" %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7

Modify the path to point to correct jaxb xjc jar. Place this bat in a path.

Then you can compile dtd's with

xjc sample.dtd sample.xjs

Read the tutorial, it is very informative, though it doesn't tell you everything... how packages are defined for example (I don't know that either).
