I opened one pdf file using showdocument method in the browser. My problem is once if this get opened, though the browser is closed also, the instance of Acrobat reader(acrord32.exe) is still remaining in the memory, by not allowing the same to run for the next time.

That is I found, acrord32.exe in the Task manager without getting killed.

Could anyone of you please help how to close that application instance or remove that application instance from memory ?

thanks,

Friendly yours,

It sounds to me as though that might be a bug with your Acrobat Reader. I recall experiencing similar behaviour with an older version before. Have you tried upgrading to the most recent version?
