How to logout using Java mail

I am writing a Logout Servlet for the
mail client i'm developing using javamail.
i am doing the following the steps, but it doesn't seem to work.
-folder.close
-store.close
-HttpSession.invalidate

Am i missing some step?
Would apprecaite any help or suggestions,

I don't get what you mean by logout in this context.
