How do I send data in a "fixed width" font in JAvaMail

I format data within the Java application and send it as the text
of an email. When the mail is opened in Microsoft outlook, it
is shown as "variable width" and the formatting disappears. How
can I avoid this?

what form of mime encoding are you using?
