sending/saving mail to my SENT Folder

I have created a folder named as "SENT" on my mail server and now I want to save a mail in this folder that I am just going to send to a different person.
I have used appendMessage() method but it uses an array of messages and not a SINGLE message.
Please tell me that how can I save a SINGLE message to my sent folder while sending it to a different person.

Umm... create an array of one item.
