Hi, I am trying to evaluate the TINI board but have ran into some difficulties. I can't seem to Reset the TINI or Load anything to it. Do I have an incompatibility problem with the TINI OS and API versions? If so how do I get the source/hex/bin files to fix it. I sent an email with MS Outlook to tini@iButton.com but I received a response about the moderator making a decision about my question. In that email I have incuded an attachment that displays the boot up information I receive from the TINI board. Is there any email address I can use so I don't have to come to this website? Hi,

I am trying to evaluate the TINI board
but have ran into some difficulties.
I can't seem to Reset the TINI
or Load anything to it.
Do I have an incompatibility problem
with the TINI OS and API
versions? If so how do I get the
source/hex/bin files to fix it.
I sent
an email with MS Outlook to tini@iButton.com
but I received a response about
the moderator making a decision about
my question. In that email I have
incuded an attachment that displays
the boot up information I
receive from the TINI board.
Is there any email address I can use
so I don't have to come to this website?

Kind Regards,
Arthur

There are a couple of things that could be wrong.
You could have the wrong cable. You could
have the serial connector plugged into the wrong jack.
Your PC could be toggling DTR (which acts as
a TINI reset). Your power supply could be sagging,
and not supplying the needed power to the TINI.
Hard to say, but many of these issues are dealt with
in these FAQs, and all of these problems have been
discussed repeatedly on the mailing list - search
the TINI FAQ for a link to the mailing list archive.
