What kind of cryptographical standard do you want to use?
S/MIME or PGP?
For S/MIME there are some commercial toolkits that works on
the top of different JCE's. I used
IAIK and the SMIME toolkit for S/MIME and that works fine.
For PGP look at
Cryptix. They have a pgp plugin but only for the old
PGP 2.6.x Version. The OpenPGP library is not ready yet.
