			How do I send mail with images that should not appear as attachment?
			

			when i tried using cid,image is appearing twice.
			

			within the body of the mail and the same image alone is displayed again seperately.why is it so?

Hi anusha,
Send the mail content with the content type as text/html and then give the exact image URL ie not with the relative path with actual path like
http://www.xyz.com/images/a1.gif.
So that when the mail is opened it will fetche the image from the exact path.
