Not sure exactly what you're wanting to do here (there might be a better way round this)


BUT, you could excecute a 'vol' dos command on the dos environment in which your program is running: Runtime.getRuntime().exec("vol");


Then grab the returned Process's InputStream and filter it for the drive letter.
