You need to provide more information - what
class/method throws the exception, what is in
your TreeMap, how are you writing it
to a file, what platform, what JVM vendor and version,
etc. Most importantly, what is the actual
error you are getting. It sounds like an OS-level
error, maybe some other process is accessing the
file at the same time as your program or maybe
you have exceeded your OS's file descriptor limit.
In my search through the JDK source, there
is no such error message generated from any
JDK routine.
