I would like to monitor the data coming to my web browser, either before/after or at the same time when data is received by web browser?

Thanks.

Just get the proxy filled with apache Soap release...
I used it to monitor a form POST with ie and emulate it with URLConnection Class.

xml.apache.org/soap

Same as last answer except that to connect to webserver, use URL & URLConnection classes.

You can easily write a little proxy server to
run on the same machine as your web browser.
Point your browser to the proxy, then any
data passed to/from your browser will pass
through the proxy. Your proxy can snoop the
data and perform whatever manipulation of
the data you intend before it is passed on.
