Problem Image width height

Using Redhat Linux6.2,Apache , GNUJSP .. i'm trying to get the height ,width of the image uploaded to the server , <%@ page import = "java.awt.*"%> <% Image im ; Frame frm = new Frame(); out.println("3"); Toolkit tol = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit(); out.println("2"); im = tol.getImage("dirName"+li); MediaTracker tracker = new MediaTracker(frm); out.println("1"); tracker.addImage(im,0); try{ tracker.waitForID(0); } catch(Exception e){out.println(e);} wg = im.getWidth(null); hg = im.getHeight(null); %> but when Toolkit is intialized the screen goes blank ..p   More>>

Your image code looks correct. I think it has no bearing on your screen-blanking problem.


I suspect your Linux/Xfree/java setup is either misconfigured somehow or (more likely) either outdated or mismatched.


I'd recommend updating to a newer Linux and the latest JDK.
