What is JNDI and what is it used for exactly ?

JNDI (Java Naming and Directory Interface) is the Java API to work with naming and directory services, allowing you to look up objects or data by name and search for them according to a specified criteria.
LDAP, NIS, Novell's NDS and RMI/Corba object registers are most common protocol implemented by service providers.

Hi,

JNDI is Java Naming and Directory Interface. This is helpful to bind & lookup any kind of objects in a server.
