What i am tring to do is, i want to capture the live video from a small video camera, which is connected to my computer and trying to show in the applet(live not stored video files). Is it possible? If it is, which is the best way to do(JMF,windows media player....?

Its very urgent....please help.

Absolutely yes, you can. One of the biggest new feature of JMF was the capturing api.

I don't have any code, but you can find lot of useful information and some interesting examples at the Java Media Framework main page.
