How to Start a batch file from Java

JavaWebserver needs to be shutdown and restart after i use the servlet once. My Servlet gets a record from a database, second time i use that servlet it gets the same record which it got the first time. So i thought if i can call batch files from Java i would shut the server and restart the JavaWebserver using batch file.

If anyone could help please lemme know

See the documentation of java.lang.Runtime.exec().
