I wanted to develop Java Applications on a Linux PDA, namely, GMATE's YOPY (Linux PDA). I received an email stating that they do not support Java development. They did not elaborate to state that it could not be accomplished on their proprietary Linupy OS(some flavor of Linux). My question is do you know of any Linux PDA which do support Java development or can you load Java applications onto a Linux PDA even if it is not supported.

The
PocketLinux
project is a Linux-based
PDA running Kaffe on the IPaq, and includes a Kaffe-based
desktop and numerous applications. There
are attempts to get Java implementations
(Kaffe and others) ported to other Linux
PDAs, but PocketLinux is the furthest
along.
