i am using jdk1.2.2 on a win98 machine.
whenever i have tried to startup the tomcat.3.2 i have ,i get the foll

you must set JAVA_HOME
i have given foll :

set JAVA_HOME = c:jdk1.2.2set TOMCAT_HOME = c: om omcat

set path=%path%;jdk interpreter

still it continues to give that error ?
pls suggest how to fix it ?

Do not give spaces around the "=" symbol in the set command.
Remove the spaces and make sure the path is being set correctly
using the command echo %JAVA_HOME%.

this may be possible reason for your error

please check your directory properly
if u installed any other server(related with java)
please uninstall it and try
