I have made and applet which writes some files from server to the client machine, for that I have made a policy file and when I run that applet using appletviewer on my local machine using
-D option and also along with policy file it's working properly but when I tried with IE I am having problem of how to attach policy file along with applet when viewed on browser.

see this change the c:jdk1.3jrelibsecurityjava.security

add this line in the java.security file in jrelibsecurity folder

policy.url.n=file:c:/forte4j/Development/config/sample_java2.policy

give the path of the policy file which u have created

n can be 1,2,3 etc., depending on the number it will take the priority
