I am in need of an IDE which can seemlessly integrate into any popular Servlet containers available in the industry, such as Tomcat, JRun, websphere ...

Hi,

Any serious and configurable IDE should allow you to use any servlet container you like.

I presonally use Kawa (http://www.allaire.com/) and throught it I can debug servlets with Tomcat and applications with Orion Application Server.
