HI I hope someone can help I am building an application that uses threads to carry out tasks every 60 seconds. The problem I have is that there needs to be a way for the user to start, pause, resume and kill a thread from a web page (servlet or otherwise). I have the code to control the thread but I don't know how to call methods inside a servlet i.e I have the following code inside a servlet out.println(" "); out.println(" "); out.println(" ENTER: TAKT TIME "); out.println(" "); out.println(" "); out.println(" "); out.println("   More>>

HI
I hope someone can help
I am building an application that uses threads to carry out tasks every 60 seconds.
The problem I have is that there needs to be a way for the user to start, pause, resume and kill a thread from a web page (servlet or otherwise). I have the code to control the thread but I don't know how to call methods inside a servlet i.e I have the following code inside a servlet
out.println(" ");
out.println("

");
out.println("

ENTER: TAKT TIME

");
out.println("

");
out.println(" ");
out.println(" ");
out.println("

");
out.println" ");
Clicking a button should run the correct method, but this causes an error.
Any ideas?    <<Less
