my root project directory is Myintra. this directory contains other subdirectories which have the respective servlet .class files in them. i have placed this root directory of my project Myintra in webappsexamples. so finally the dir structure becomes
webapps/examples/Myintra/dir1/servlet1.class
webapps/examples/Myintra/dir1/servlet2.class
webapps/examples/Myintra/dir2/servlet3.class
webapps/examples/Myintra/dir2/servlet4.class
etc.

please help me in geting my servlets running.

In Tomcat the default directory for storing your servlets is under
WEB-INF/classes.

Hi,

you don't have to put the classes in the directory where you want to execute them, like html or jsp files.

Classes has to be in the classpath. Please refer to this answer to have an idea where to put your servlets.
