Hi, I dont have javax.mail class files in my machine. I presently use the sun.net.smtp.SmtpClient object for sending mails. Is it possible for me to send mails which are of mime type= html. I guess the default mime is text/plain for the SmtpClient. Please advise. Thanx in advance.

SmtpClient is for sending text messages. If you don't want to use the JavaMail API, open port 25 on your SMTP server and send the raw text required of the message. There are references to the appropriate RFCs that describe the format already in the FAQ.
