Is there any possibility of reading and writing into excel cells, on a formated xls file.
Now i use csv files, but sometimes the cells are smaller than the value, that i write to there.
Thanks, Rui Resende.

Rui,

I do not have any direct experience with reading/writing excel files, but I can tell you that it's definitely not an easy task, in particular if you need to write a 'multi-sheets' document.

There is an interesting resource called Wotsit's Format that has a manual for the single sheet format. You can get it and write your own class.

If you're willing to pay, you can check out Formula One iReporting Engine.

If anyone has more links, maybe open source (it could be that IBM Alphaworks has something), it could be very useful.
