Hello,
I'm pretty new with the Java Mail API.
What I want to ask is if this API offer support for writing a mail server.
If so, where can I find some source code examples?

There are two good books which make reference to the JavaMail API, both having some code samples: Professional Java Server Programming & Professional Java Server Programming J2EE Edition from WROX (www.wrox.com). Check out the Java forums at java.sun.com as well. Good luck!
