A question related with weblogic.system.executeThreadCount from a previous question :

If a testing application is using a servlet that is forwarding request to a group of JSP (using de RequestDispatcher.forward method) and the weblogic.system.executeThreadCount is not enough high, then the forward method may fail. is this correct?

From my little understanding, it should not fail.

The (forwarded) request will arrive at the TCP end and if the number of execute threads (in v6; the default is 15 threads) are all busy, the request will be queued. When one of the the execute threads becomes free, then it will service that request.

There is a definite limit on the number of requests that could be queued (it seemed to be dependent on the available memory of the system and/or system limit on opened files).
