How do you make locale sensitive classes accept your own resourceBundle classes? For example, how would I make DecimalFormat take my locale that points to my ResourceBundle?

As far as I can see the text

ResourceBundle rb = ResourceBundle.getBundle
("java.text.resources.LocaleElements", locale);
is hard coded inside all the locale sensitive classes.

Is there a workaround or is this a limitation/bug in the JDK?
